How the square feet calculator works
For a rectangle, area is length multiplied by width. If you have several equal areas, multiply that result by the quantity. The calculator also converts the total into square yards and square meters.
area = length × width
Example
A 12 × 10 ft rectangle contains 120 ft², 13.33 yd², and about 11.15 m².
Irregular spaces: divide an L-shaped or irregular room into simple rectangles, calculate each section, then add the areas together.
